I must admit when we decided to sell our home we were very doubtful that it would be a pleasant experience. With the way the real estate market was at the time I doubted that we would get what we felt our home was worth. Then there was the prospect of strangers walking through our house for months on end. Lois provided the start up services to the successful sale. Lois took some additional pictures for us when we were not satisfied with how the originals turned out. She has a very calming demeanor and is a good communicator. It was nice to know we could rely on her to explain things to us.

Once the sale was agreed upon, Susan was there to co-ordinate things leading up to the closing, What a great job she did. She kept us focused on the goal ahead . I just wanted to drop you a note to thank-you for going above and beyond to get my house sold. Not only did you have a bad real estate market to work with, but you also had to work around my end-state ovarian cancer and my need to relocate immediately from Pennsylvania to Michigan.

You and your loving, considerate staff had to completely take over and get all the various contractors in and out of the house to make the various repairs so the house could pass inspection. I strongly recommend the real estate services of Barbara Slade and her team to anyone planning to buy or sell property. The service and professionalism that Barbara and her team members provide is indeed exceptional and deserves acknowledgement.

In my case, the property I purchased was not a typical home sale as the bulk of the property’s value was in the land. To further complicate the purchase, the property was owned by a trust, with the trustee living out-of-state. In addition, I had the misfortune of arranging financing for the property during the worse sub-prime crisis in decades. All of this could have led to a very large headache if not for the expertise and guidance of Barbara. In the end, the process was rather painless and, actually, was completed in a timely fashion thanks to Barbara’s experience and the efficiency of her team. To my advantage, the depth and breadth of her industry contacts included a mortgage broker who was able to arrang e the financing in less than a week.

Despite the number of issues that popped up before the closing, Barbara and her team were on top of everything and all issues were resolved quickly. I do not think you can find a realty team that is more proactive and coordinated…and gets the job done right!
